15th Mar 06I have today placed an order for an Epson Stylus Photo 2400, this is a professional quality photo printer up to A3+.
It uses the unique Epson UltraChrome K3 ink set for priting true Black and White as well as well as perfect colour quality for Professional Photographs and Fine Art work.
Epsons UltraChrome K3 inks provide extremely high water, gas and light resistance so that Epson say that printed work will last for up to 150 years. On photo glossy paper they say that they will last up to 70 years (colour) and 100 years (B&W).
World respected Independant Researchers Wilhelm Imaging Research, www.wilhelm-research.com tests show print longevity on Epson's Premium Glossy paper to be 85 years behind glass.
This should mean that as soon as I have it set up and pricing sorted, I will be in a position to start selling my images.
