Hi my name is Steve Newport, I have been taking photographs since my early teans using my fathers old cameras, I then purchased a Minolta 7000 after getting married and having two sons, who obviously I wanted to photograph.

But as with a lot of people family life affected my photography and it just became Holidays, Birthdays etc.
I have since been divorced and I married my present wife Kathy 14 years ago, the boys are now grown up and left home.

But it wasn't until I bought a Computer and got a free Digital Camera that my interest really took off again, I now spend as much time as possible taking photos and now use a Canon EOS 20D which produces fantastic quality images.

I also have a 9 megapixel Fuji Finepix S9600 compact which has a 28-320mm lens, this I carry at all times so as not to miss anything.

I have also bought a second hand Bronica ETRS Medium Format film camera,which I am enjoying playing around with.
